Building Healthy Bodies & Minds

We believe that the keys to a healthy life are a balanced mind, body and spirit. Whether you want to challenge yourself by learning something new, bring your loved ones closer together, or take your fitness to a new level, at the YMCA is where you belong.  We build more than healthy bodies. We build healthy lives.

Much more than a gym, the Sheboygan County YMCA is part of a worldwide organization dedicated to improving the health of our neighbors everywhere. Membership at the Y makes you part of a global network dedicated to the idea of healthy living through a balanced mind, spirit, and body. The YMCA strengthens the whole person in spirit, mind and body.  Our state-of-the-art fitness facilities and professional staff are just the beginning.  The Y also provides financial assistance for those in need.  Please click here to view the form.

Youth Development

Kids at the Y learn values of teamwork and sportsmanship that enable them to succeed in whatever future they find themselves in.  Because of our programs, well over 2,000 kids in Sheboygan County have a strong foundation for a healthy, active life.  Kids and teens learn the value of teamwork, and develop the self-confidence to succeed as adults.

Healthy Living

The keys to a healthy life are mind, body and spirit.  Here at the Y we strengthen all three. There is more to good health than just exercise.  Come find it at the Y.

Social Responsibility

We know that when we work as one, we move people and communities forward. That’s why we are committed to providing support to our neighbors and opportunities for kids, adults and families to give, join in or advocate in the name of stronger communities.

Teaching Kids Positive Attitudes

The values we learn as children shape us as we grow. That’s why our programs at the YMCA do more than teach children the rules of the game. We help them develop positive attitudes and self-confidence to prepare them to be active, community-minded adults.

At the Y, win or lose, it’s always been about how well you played the game. That’s an attitude that will serve our youth well throughout their lives. Through sports children

  • Develop healthy attitudes towards fitness
  • Build positive relationships
  • Learn from their mistakes

Sports are a great way to find competition, fun and friendship. Here at the Y, they aren’t just for kids. We have programs for everyone, at every age.  Come find yours.
